Northern Chautauqua Catholic School Students Celebrate Seder Meal with Seminarian Peter Santandreu
DUNKIRK, N.Y. (March 16th, 2016 ) - In the afternoon, NCCS students celebrated the Seder meal with the aid of Seminarian, Peter Santandreu, who explained the Seder Plate and the symbolic foods eaten at the Passover Seder.  This is also believed to be when Jesus instituted the Eucharist where Jesus told his disciples, "I have longed to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; because, I tell you, I shall not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God."
The Seder Meal was well received by the students who described the meal as memorable and had brought them closer to their faith during this Lenten Season.  The Seder Meal is usually celebrated on Holy Thursday before Easter.
