Have you seen what's going on down at Canalside yet?? As students and families of Catholic schools prepare for the upcoming school year, the WNY Catholic Schools blog is your source for what to do in Buffalo this summer! Before students of Christian schools in Buffalo NY are back in class, be sure to bring them out to Canalside!
If you haven't been down by the Canal this summer, you're not too late. With a beautiful atmosphere and so much going on, Canalside Buffalo offers daily activities for the whole family! Elementary school students can enjoy events like Explore & More Family Fun Fridays Explore & More Family Fun Fridays from 11am-2pm every Friday, where they can participate in free guided arts and crafts, and maybe meet a new friend or two in the group recreational activities and games. Exercise like Animals, see a puppet show, participate in Seuss Summer Children's program, or strap on a lifejacket and take a water bike or paddle boat tour on the canal! There are also many things to do for the older kids of WNY Catholic elementary schools! Rent one of the Buffalo blue bikes to ride around the canal area, race a remote control sailboat, or join a group of young Chefs and learn how to cook. Canalside features a full summer worth of concerts for the whole family to check out!
