2015 WNY School Rankings Are Out!

 It's that time of the year again; the 2015 Buffalo Business First Western New York School rankings have been released.  With high expectations from students, teachers, and parents, Catholic schools were successful once again. Catholic schools ranked in the upper tier in all three levels.  Here is a rundown of how WNY Catholic schools measured up on the 2015 WNY school rankings.

 High School:

Commitment to excellence meant another strong year for the Catholic high schools of Buffalo and WNY.  Eight  Catholic schools rank among the top 20 performing schools in WNY.  This is consistent with last year's rankings.  11 of 14 WNY Catholic high schools rank in the top 50 of a total of 136 high schools.  Also, showing consistency with the 2014 rankings, even the lowest ranking Catholic high school still ranks in the top half of all WNY high schools.

 Middle School:

Catholic middle schools accounted for 11 out of 20 of the top performing middle schools in WNY in 2015, placing 3 schools in the Top 5.  St Gregory the Great School (Williamsville), and St. Benedict's' School (Amherst), stayed strong in the 2015 WNY rankings.  Both remained in the top 5 middle schools.  Christ the King School (Amherst) jumped up from 12 in 2014, to rank 5 in 2015.  There is a total of 37 Catholic middle schools, 24 sit in the top 50 of a total of 194 middle schools in WNY.

 Elementary School:

The future of WNY Catholic schools starts at the elementary level, and once again, Catholic schools did not disappoint.  In the top 30 performing schools, 7 are Catholic elementary schools.  Out of a total of 36 Catholic elementary schools who were evaluated, 24 rank in the top 100 WNY elementary schools. (262 Total)

WNY Catholic schools once again showed a high level of expectations from their students, and once again, the students delivered  great performances.  Results of hard work and a standard of excellence landed WNY Catholic schools in the upper tier of the 2015 WNY school rankings at all three levels.  Congratulations to ALL of our hardworking students, teachers, and parents for their dedication to excellence, and keeping the future bright for Catholic schools!
